FM-200

FM-200™, also known as Heptafluoropropane, is a clean agent fire suppressant for Class A, B, and C fires and meets NFPA Standard 2001 Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems. It is widely used in electronic rooms, communication rooms, or server rooms. Clean agents are fast and effective in suppressing fires, are safe in occupied spaces, and leave no residue.

FM-200 is a  Halocarbon clean agent. And here are its components.

1. Gas Cylinder
   The agent cylinders store suppression agent super-pressurized with dry nitrogen. The cylinders are painted red and are equipped with a 3-inch pressure differential valve, pressure gauge, optional liquid level indicator, and optional low-pressure switch assembly. The safety burst disc is also located on the cylinder shoulder.
   
   
2. Pipe and accessories
   Piping materials shall be Schedule 40 black iron, galvanized, stainless steel, or chrome-plated conforming to ASTM A106 Seamless Grades A, B or C; Schedule 40, ASTM A53 ERW Grades A or B; Schedule 40, ASTM A53 F Furnace Welded; Schedule 40.
   
   
3. Discharge Nozzle
   Total flooding clean agent extinguishing system nozzles shall be made of stainless steel. B. Each nozzle shall be located in the space per the manufacturer’s guidelines. Nozzles shall have either a 180- or a 360-degree discharge pattern. It suppresses fire in 10 seconds.
   
   
4. Actuation and Control System
   The control system works automatically. It is used as a smoke detector. Moreover, it has two modes, mechanic and automatic. Besides, It has sound and light alert.
   

The system is suitable for electronic rooms, data centers, communication rooms, server rooms, museums, document storage, etc.
